Phuket, Pattaya or Koh Samui?
- Phuket: the biggest island, direct flight from Yerevan, Patong for nightlife, Kata and Karon for families, Phi Phi and James Bond Island day trips. The default first-time choice.
- Pattaya: 2 hours from Bangkok, the cheapest hotels, easy to combine with 2–3 days in the capital. Beaches are weaker; go for the price and the shows.
- Koh Samui: quieter, upscale, palm-lined beaches, best in January–September when Phuket has its rainy season. Requires an extra domestic flight.
- Bangkok add-on: 2–3 nights for temples, markets and rooftop bars — most of our packages include it.

Is there a direct flight from Yerevan to Thailand?
Yes — from 5 November 2026 Shirak Avia flies Yerevan–Phuket every Thursday for the winter season (until March 2027), with a short technical stop. Daily one-stop options run via Doha (Qatar Airways) and Dubai (flydubai/Emirates).
Do Armenian citizens need a visa for Thailand?
A visa on arrival is issued for up to 15 days (2,000 THB, cash). For longer stays apply for the 60-day e-Visa in advance. Everyone must also complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before landing.
What is the best month to visit Thailand from Armenia?
November to March: dry, +28…+32°C, calm sea on the Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi). April–May is very hot; June–October is the rainy season in Phuket but the best time for Koh Samui.
